Three numbers on grid congestion in Gelderland

New waiting-list rules
From that date, congestion areas use one waiting list for small and large users. A broad connection stop for all of Gelderland was avoided, according to Liander and the government.

FGU congestion zones
The government and grid operators split the FGU region into five congestion zones, including areas around Dodewaard and Doetinchem in Gelderland.
October 2026
First review moment
In October 2026 the government reviews again whether, and how much, capacity can safely be released from 1 January 2027.
