Three numbers on grid congestion in Flevoland

1 July 2026

New waiting-list rules

From that date, congestion areas use one waiting list for small and large users. A broad connection stop for all of Flevoland was avoided, according to Liander and the government.

FGU congestion zones

The government and grid operators split Flevoland, Gelderland and Utrecht into five congestion zones. Local status differs, including in southern Flevoland.

October 2026

First review moment

In October 2026 the government reviews again whether, and how much, capacity can safely be released from 1 January 2027.

Do I automatically join a waiting list in Flevoland?
